These projects had all one common denominator in that they were all occupied buildings having substantial refurbishment whilst they remained occupied and operational.

The contracts were carried out in phases to permit Client staff to decant areas whilst the work was completed to very tight programmes.

This involved a high level of management and co-ordination by all disciplines concerned and the ability to facilitate and co-operate with the building user. Frequent meetings, sometimes weekly, were held with Project Management, Premises Officer and Construction Staff to secure a smooth operation with minimum upset, whilst achieving a quality and timely hand over of each project. We enclose details of these projects completed.

The ethos and benefits sought from the MTC Contract was to allow the Client to have work completed on known and accepted PSA rates within rapid turnaround. When Clients released funds the partnering team were issued a design brief and work commenced almost immediately whilst design details were being finalised.
