CHC celebrates a stellar night of success at the Northern Ireland Plumbing and Heating Awards

CHC were proud to attend a gala evening at Titanic Belfast on 13th April 2018 to celebrate the Northern Ireland Plumbing and Heating Awards 2018. The awards celebrated the best in standards within the industry and were judged by an independent panel of industry experts.

Having been shortlisted in four categories, CHC were absolutely delighted to achieve a hat trick, picking up the following awards:

• Large Mechanical Contractor of the Year, Highly Commended
• Mechanical Project of the Year, Highly Commended
• Overall Achievement award, Winner – Derek Poole, CHC Chairman.

The awards are judged upon a presentation of how the company or individual worked positively to deliver high standards and innovation in their sector.

Brenda Regan, CHC Commercial Director commented, “This is another fantastic achievement for the CHC Team! To pick up three awards on the night, really recognises the hard work and dedication to delivering excellence that is demonstrated by our management and staff on a daily basis, well done to all of our team”.

CHC Chairman, Derek Poole also picked up the prestigious overall achievement award for his contribution to enhancing the industry through his dedication and tireless hard work. When presenting the award, MC for the evening Claire McCollum stated:

“Derek Poole has been instrumental in the success of CHC Group Ltd but it’s his role in trying to build a stronger plumbing and heating industry in Northern Ireland that often goes unnoticed and is a key reason why he is this year’s deserving recipient of the Overall Achievement Award”.

As the company approaches its 50 years in business in 2019 under Derek’s leadership, it was fitting that the much deserved award was presented to Derek in recognition of his ongoing commitment and dedication to the mechanical and electrical industry.
