Building Services Upgrade Works at Parliament Buildings

Completion:  October 2010

Details:

CHC was appointed to deliver essential building service upgrade works to Parliament Buildings.  This included:

• Removal and replacement of air handling units in various internal plant room areas
• Ventilation duct modifications and installations
• Provision of new automatic control systems.

Works took place in the prestigious Senate Chambers and The Great Hall, all installations were carefully planned & co-ordinated as the protection of the listed building fabric & its ornate features were essential

Works took place while the Assembly were sitting, therefore careful planning in collaboration with the main contractor and project team was essential to avoid disruption to existing building services.
